Liberation Focussed Practice Supervision (LFPS) is a framework for exemplary and transformative equality diversity and inclusion practice. The purpose of supervision here is to keep equality, diversity and inclusion practitioners safe, improve anti-discriminatory practice and drive personal, professional and organisational development.
The supervision framework recognises in this endeavour, the equal obligations of:
Our supervision model aims to support practitioners to thrive holistically by facilitating contemplation in six domains: the intellectual, the personal, the moral, the psychological, the physical and the professional.
This is achieved through:
Setting out the framework for introducing supervision into the organisation and presenting the supervision model to be used
Critical, reflective and restorative group discussions with other practitioners
Optional 1:1 sessions for Practitioners
Specialised learning experience based on one of the six domains, delivered by a subject matter expert that provides participants with in-depth knowledge, practical skills, and unique insights

"I have been taking part in Liberation Focussed Practice Supervision for the past 2 years, and it has been pivotal in supporting my own practice and development, both professionally and personally.
